Making Impact

It's National Apprentice Week and we are proud to be an employer that supports the personal growth and development of apprentices within our business.

As part of our social responsibility we are focussed on the future and sustaining our industry by passing down the knowledge and skillset of our experienced artisans to the next generation.

As a result, we run an apprenticeship scheme working alongside local colleges, providing the next generation of carpenters and joiners with the opportunity to work alongside master craftsmen with decades of experience.

Our apprentices benefit from our ethos of combining our history and heritage with the latest technology, they get a hands-on experience while working alongside experts in their field, supporting them through their progression towards their advanced qualifications.

As part of their training our apprentices learn to work effectively as a member of the team, but also become confident enough to undertake independent projects. We also develop transferable skills that include effective communication, logical thinking and adaptability.

By doing this, we can ensure that we have access to skilled master craftsmen and joiners for many years to come.
